Full name: Louis Boudreau
Noted For: shortstop and manager; member of the Cleveland Indians (1938-50, player-manager from 1942-50) and Boston Red Sox (1951-52). Manager of the Boston Red Sox (1952-54), Kansas City Royals (1955-57), and Chicago Cubs (1960). Managed the Indians to a World Series championship (1948). Inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame (1970).
